The article is devoted to the description of some lexical features of the Sart-Kalmyk language living in the Ak-Suu region of the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan. The analysis is carried out on the material collected by the authors during field research in five settlements: Karakol, Chelpek, Tash-Kyya, Burma-Suu, Beryu-Bash. A comparative characteristic of the vocabulary of the language of the Sart-Kalmyks and other groups of the Oirat ethnos (Kalmyks, olets of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China) is carried out. The study revealed that the vocabulary of the Sart-Kalmyk language is currently under the influence of the Kyrgyz language. Many words of the Sart-Kalmyk language are replaced by Kyrgyz equivalents, or exist in parallel. The comparisons given by the authors in the field of vocabulary are just preliminary experiments, but they confirm the indisputable linguistic closeness and ethnic unity of the Sart-Kalmyks, Oirats (olets) of Xinjiang and Russian Kalmyks
