About some gaps in the criminal procedure legislation of the Russian Federation

The article analyzes the existing gaps and shortcomings in the criminal procedure legislation of the Russian Federation, which have a negative impact on law enforcement and the protection of citizens' rights. The author examines such key aspects as the vagueness of the wording of laws, legal conflicts and difficulties that arise during the criminal process. Special attention is paid to the rights of suspects and accused, as well as shortcomings in regulating the actions of law enforcement agencies, which can lead to violations of the principles of justice and legality. In conclusion, the article offers specific recommendations for improving legislation aimed at eliminating the identified problems and improving law enforcement practice, which, in turn, should contribute to increasing citizens' confidence in the judicial system and strengthening the rule of law.
