On some issues of legal regulation of the rights of citizens of the Russian Federation to appeal to the prosecutor’s office

This article raises the question of the prosecutor's office's work with citizens' appeals. The importance of citizens' appeals is primarily determined by the fact that they are guaranteed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Article 33 of the Basic Law establishes the right of citizens of the Russian Federation to apply personally, as well as to send individual and collective appeals to state and local government bodies. The article provides statistics on appeals in connection with violations in the field of housing and communal services, housing and budget legislation, in the field of pension insurance, and also identifies some shortcomings of the Federal Law "On the procedure for considering appeals from citizens of the Russian Federation".
