On some legislative problems of regulating the right of citizens to reliable information about the state of the environment

The article examines the right of citizens to reliable information about the state of the environment (the right of citizens to environmental information). The constitutional provisions on the right of citizens to reliable information about the state of the environment, as well as other legislation regulating the right of citizens to environmental information are analyzed. Attention is drawn to the sign of “reliability” of information, its criteria are formulated. The author identifies legal conflicts between constitutional and legislative regulation of the right to reliable information about the state of the environment.
