About Ilya Pushkin’s poetry

Ilya Pushkin’s Japanese poetry is studied in the article. The Russian, Japanese and Jewish poetry comparisons are given. The poetics and themes of the poems as well as the ways of their translation are discussed. It is concluded that Ilya Pushkin’s poetics is close to that of the Japanese romantic poet Toson.
