On the principles of corporate governance in Russian commercial banks

The article focuses on the analysis of corporate governance systems in Russian banks, its peculiarities, and prospects for improvement. Compliance with high standards of corporate governance in banking activities can contribute to strengthening the sustainability of the entire banking system of the country. The paper examines the existing system of corporate governance in the Russian banking sector, reveals problematic aspects and identifies key challenges facing domestic banks in this area. The author considers the main principles of corporate governance and offers recommendations to improve its efficiency in Russian banks.
