Translation of the precedent names (based on the translation of the names of the fairy-tale characters from the Russian language into the Azerbaijan language)

The article deals with the peculiarities of the translation of the names of the characters of the fairy tales from the Russian language into the Azerbaijan language. There is emphasized that there is observed the layerage of the concepts in the Russian and Azerbaijan cultural space during the translation of the precedent names. The layerage has a relative character because there is translated only the lexical meaning of the names of the characters of the fairy tales when the stereotyped images in the consciousness of the modern Russian people are untranslatable for the Azerbaijani.
