On the procedural independence of the investigator in the criminal process of the Russian Federation

This scientific article is devoted to the analysis of the procedural independence of the investigator in the criminal process of the Russian Federation. The procedural independence of the investigator plays a key role in ensuring the fairness and effectiveness of the criminal process. The article examines the importance of the investigator's independence from external influences and his ability to act in accordance with the law. The analysis of legislative norms defining the powers and responsibilities of the investigator, as well as his interaction with other participants in the criminal process, is carried out. Possible problems and solutions are discussed in order to improve the procedures of criminal proceedings and increase public confidence in the justice system.
