About the development of the form-making role of ritornel in composition of small forms of baroque (at the example of the comparative analysis of air serieux "Les Pelerines" and harpsichord piece of the same name of F. Couperin)

The creative solution of F. Couperin to typical chamber music of XVII - first half of XVIII centuries of baroque two-parts form is examined. The peculiarity of this form in vocal аir serieux and based on its material for harpsichord piece of the same name is described. Based on the comparative analysis, it is proved that the individual form in vocal and instrumental versions of «Les Pelerines» of Couperin is conditioned with different form-making role of ritornel - one of the demonstrative elements of small forms of baroque music.
