On publishing activities and ethics of higher school teachers

A wide scope of issues dealing with scientific publications and research of higher school teachers is analyzed. The concept of “publishing activities” is described as an assessment criterion of the efficiency of educational and research institutions. The concept of “personal publishing activity” is understood as an indicator of research quality and citation in the Russian and international databases. The concept of “publishing ethics” is viewed in the framework of solving the tasks of improving the quality of and credibility of the regional journal in the scientific information environment and quality preparation for publishing articles in accordance with international criteria. The main conclusions of the article are recommended to the authors preparing their publications for scientific journals and wanting to improve their citation factor.
