This article presents the results of a comprehensive study investigating changes over time in the innovation infrastructure of the industrial sector under the influence of integration processes that are typical for the current stage of economic development. The relevance of this issue stems from the growing role of infrastructure support in implementing the innovative potential of Russian industry amid external constraints and the need to maintain technological sovereignty. The results of the analysis indicate the emergence of fundamentally new organizational forms of innovative infrastructure – integrated structures capable of accumulating the resources and competencies of diverse economic entities to implement joint innovation projects. It has been established that regional specifics – such as the concentration of research and educational institutions, the sectoral structure of industry, and the level of institutional development – determine the pace and direction of infrastructure development. A significant asymmetry in the territorial distribution of infrastructure facilities is revealed, creating disparities in industrial enterprises’ access to innovation services. The article describes the transformative impact of integration processes on the architecture of innovation systems as follows: the traditional boundaries of infrastructure complexes are becoming blurred under the influence of interregional and transnational cooperation.
