About A. I. Allo's role in the development of Samara region folk instrumental art

The present article touches upon the questions of beginning and developing written traditions of Samara Region folk instrumental art. It shows the great role of the first professional balalaika player of this region, A.I.Allo, who organized the first folk orchestra groups. The author discovers a number of peculiarities in Samara folk instrumental art development connected directly with A.I.Allo's creative and organizing activities at the beginning of the XX century.
