The article is a review of the materials of the scientific interdisciplinary journal of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy «Russian-Byzantine Bulletin», 2021, No. 1 (4), devoted to Russian thought in its religious-philosophical, cultural and socio-political aspects in interaction and continuity with Byzantine tradition. The issue is divided into three large sections: dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the death of A. S. Khomyakov, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Alexander III and the creative legacy of archpriest G. V. Florovsky. It is concluded that the problems of the history of thought in the «Russian-Byzantine Bulletin» obviously lack the presence of a number of themes of the history of realization this thought into action, the history of the interaction of the world of thought with the world of political and social institutions and material civilization.
