About semantics of possessive adjectives in the old Russian language

The article analyzes the semantics of possessive adjectives in the Old Russian language from the perspective of the theory of possessiveness. The classification is based on a scheme consisting of four components: a possessor, an object of possessiveness, the space between them and time. Nine types of meanings were identified for possessive adjectives in the Old Russian language and two types as borderline with relative adjectives.
