The article deals with socially perceptive processes of a person in extreme professional situations (exemplified by mobile special assignment squads’ officers). The author suggests the mechanism of social perception of operational service situations by the officers of mobile special assignment squads, which is mediated through professional performance and includes three components: legal, professionally ethical and special tactical.
