Relationship of the language and speech concepts in modern linguistics

This article highlights the issue of modern understanding of such key concepts of linguistics as Language and Speech. A brief review of the most significant theories of Language and Speech is carried out, as well as a comparative analysis based on the main characteristics of these two concepts. The subject of the study is the difference between language and speech. The purpose of the study is to characterize the main approaches to the differentiation of these linguistic concepts from the standpoint of the Kyrgyz-Russian bilingualism. Research methods - comparative-historical in close connection with techniques such as modeling, comparison, generalization and others. The results obtained can be used by students, teachers, graduate students and anyone interested in the theory of psycholinguistics.
