N improving the legal regulation of the procedure for seizure of assets in criminal proceedings

The article analyzes the problems caused by the collisions in the current procedure for seizing assets. Correlation of this coercive measure with the statutory regulation of these issues in different branches of law is investigated. The influence of decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation on the legislative process concerning improving the relevant provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation is determined. The authors propose some ways to optimize the current model for applying the procedural enforcement measure, taking into account current trends in the development of relations in the property sphere.
