On the formation of innovations in teaching history in the Russian Higher School

The process of historical education renovation taking place in the Russian higher school at the confines of the 20 th century is considered in the article. The formation and peculiarities of poly-conceptual presentation of the history which gained the higher school public recognition is revealed.
