About tradition and innovation in training in spelling of pupils of middle classes of comprehensive school

The article dwells upon the problems of spelling skills formation of secondary school pupils in the conditions of modernization of school education and administration of the New Standard (2010). The article describes the reasons of pupils’ illiteracy and provides guidelines of amendment and development in elimination of lasting writing rules violation. As an innovative approach in the field of teaching spelling the author suggests an integration of Russian teaching methodology with Psychology, Corrective Pedagogy, and Logopaedics, which take into account individual and psychological particular qualities of the pupils. Besides theoretical summary, the article also contains the samples of spelling exercises and practical work data, which prove the effectiveness of the chosen system of education.
