The article deals with the creative history of the lyric book “The Return of Odysseus” by O.A. Okhapkin. The poet, having bright lyric talent, aimed to the historical and epic comprehension of the reality and the reflection of the epoch-making events. The form of the lyric book allowed O.A. Okhapkin to create “monumental context”.
