The influence of the ideas of cura sui, ~i, humanitas, and bildung on the European philosophy of education (analysing the work of contemporary Italian researchers)

The article deals with the conceptualization of category cura sui in contemporary studies of Italian scientists, who, in general, continue to develop the traditions of interpretation of the concept put forward by M. Heidegger and M. Foucault. According to the author, the interpretation of cura sui, presented by F. Cambi, F. Caputo, M. Gennari and other researchers, gives the reason to ana-lyze it in close historical-genetic and ontological relations with the Greek category паі5єїа, Roman humanitas and the German and the European concept of Bild-ung, which we perceive as education and self-education. At the same time, Bild-ung is regarded as a category, which has the mystico-religious roots, it is tangible in the German-speaking and Russian-speaking traditions, referring to the recon-struction the divine image in a man as the main goal and the method of teaching. Such interpretations of Bildung as were given by F. Kambi and M. Borelli, note the emerging tendency in modern interpretations (the concept of reduction and simplification), which, from their point of view, are unacceptable.
