The present study has investigated the effect of medicinal preparations used in acne external therapy on free radical combustion in vitro by means of chemiluminescence monitoring in simple model system simulating generation of oxygen active forms and peroxide oxidation of lipids as well as luminol-dependent chemiluminescence of heparinized blood. The comparative characteristic of antioxidative activity of 10 preparations is given.
