On the potential of artificial texts for applied tasks

The paper considers reading not only as the goal of training but also as the tool of training, which develops other linguistic activities; artificial text is considered as a teaching tool helping to acquire knowledge of language system; the structure of artificial texts is analyzed at phonetic, morphologic, lexical and syntactic levels.
