On the introduction of the concept of temporary guardianship (child care) to the Family Code of the Russian Federation

This article discusses the need to introduce the concept of "temporary guardianship (child care)" into the Family Code of the Russian Federation. The author analyzes the current legislation and judicial practice, identifying gaps and contradictions in the field of temporary placement of children left without parental care. Based on the conducted research, the necessity of introducing a new type of guardianship is justified, which will differ from traditional guardianship and guardianship for a shorter period and a limited amount of authority. The article defines the main features and content of temporary guardianship, and proposes a model of its legal regulation. The expediency of introducing this institution is justified, and a list of persons who can be temporary guardians is established.
