On the legislative regulation of the operational search for a missing person

The article considers the expediency of introducing a new version of the article regulating the issues of operational search for missing persons into the Federal Law «On Operational Search Activities». In this regard, the prescriptions of various legislative acts are compared and investigated, the identified shortcomings and problems arising in this regard are noted, the optimal way out of the current situation is proposed, the norm edited by the author is formulated.
