The article attempts to determine the permissibility of using non-procedural information in the process of countering drug trafficking in the absence of a regulatory regime for using non-procedural information in the investigation of criminal cases. The article argues that non-procedural information in the field of countering drug trafficking can be used in the stages of the criminal process and can be transformed depending on how the circumstances and facts relevant to the criminal case are reflected in the information, in accordance with the procedural requirements for the relevant types of evidence.
