On the use of video materials in the process of formation of students' communicative competence

In the process of forming communicative competence, audiovisual means, among which educational films occupy a special place, play an important role. In the article, the author identifies and describes three stages in working on video films: working with a cartoon, initial viewing of the main film and doing simple tasks; secondary viewing of the film and doing more complex tasks; dubbing the film.The author the conclusion that this type of activity contributes to the formation and consolidation of students' communicative competence, individualizes the learning process and enriches it with expressive means.
