An overview of legal acts that were published in one month - November 1722, that is, 300 years ago, is presented. The number of laws then amounted to only 4 (in September 1722 there were 21, and in October 1722 - 20 acts), and this is the lowest figure for all the months of 1722 and the subsequent legislative history of Russia. The used approach to the choice of the object of research, based on the round anniversary date, of course, is reproached to a certain extent, but, nevertheless, it allows a better understanding of the main trends in the historical development of Russian law. The source of the acts under study is the first Complete Collection of Laws of the Russian Empire (1649-1825).
