On the assessment of the population’s security from possible threats to their lives and health due to emergency situations related to illegal drug trafficking

The authors draw attention to the specifics of harm to health and life of people from emergency situations that arise as a result of actions related to illegal drug trafficking, including those in foreign countries. The criteria for assessing the activity of drug control units are analyzed, and in this regard, an indicator related to the protection of the population from threats to their life and health due to emergency situations related to illegal drug trafficking is proposed.
