On the oscillation and fixed sign properties of solutions for a class of functional differential equations

Effective conditions of the positiveness of the Cauchy function and the oscillation of solutions for nonautonomous differential equations with concentrated delay are obtained. In the case of constant coefficients and delays the obtained sufficient conditions generate a dichotomy of the properties of solutions
