Primary school children with mental retardation demonstrate immature higher mental functions, such as spatial perception, linguistic generalizations which are very important for forming language prepositional constructions; therefore, they require special techniques and methods that should contribute to forming spatial perceptions and linguistic generalizations. In this paper we theoretically grounded and developed the methods of hand simulation to internalize spatial relations, expressed by means of prepositions.
