Ensuring the accessibility of vocational education for young people with disabilities in the Chelyabinsk region

One of the main directions of state policy in the field of vocational education is building an individual educational route for people with disabilities of various nosologies, which takes into account the diversity of their special educational needs and individual capabilities. The article discusses issues related to the problem of creating conditions for the accessibility of vocational education for students with disabilities in the context of its digitalization. The article analyzes the results of monitoring the informational openness of professional educational organizations of the Chelyabinsk region on the issues of vocational education of disabled people, which was carried out by the Center for Inclusive Education Chelyabinsk Institute of the Vocational Education Development in 2016-2020. The features of the organization of complex support for young people with disabilities when they receive professional education are considered. The article explicates the content of the concept of “assistive technologies”. The experience of the Miass Pedagogical College in creating a rich educational environment, providing professional education for disabled people and persons with disabilities, and preparing a future teacher for professional activities in an inclusive education is presented.
