Ensuring national security of the state: economic aspect

The article touches on the evolution of ideas about security and national security in Russia from the 17th century to the present day. An overview of the main regulatory legal acts, strategic documents in the field of national security and economic security of the Russian Federation is given. The content of the concepts “national security”, “economic security”, presented in accordance with the regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation, is revealed. Attention is drawn to the leading place of socio-economic factors in the system of necessary conditions for ensuring national security.
