Ensuring the rights of the investigation participants while using the polygraph

This article discusses the procedural status of the investigation participants in the criminal procedure. The paper examines the role of the polygraph while ensuring rights during the investigation because, on the one hand, the polygraph is a technical means for protection, and, on the other hand, it can restrict the participants’ rights. The author concludes that it is necessary to obtain the consent of the individual for the polygraph examination.
