One of the most important principles of gerodietetic, science, studying the diet of people in older age groups, is the principle of energy-balanced diet.. The article considers the problem of maintaining the state of health of elderly and senile age. In order to improve health and prevent common diseases one of the promising directions in the food industry was the production of functional products.
