Marking the winter season in the Khakass language picture of the world

The article is devoted to identifying and describing the temporary (temporal) language, indicating time of the year хысхы ‘winter’ in the Khakass language picture of the world. The study is based on the description of lexical units characterizing the winter period. As a result of the collected language material, it is revealed that to describe the winter season in the Khakass language are used as words of different parts of speech (nouns, adjectives, adverbs), and free and stable combinations of words (phraseological and paremic units). Attention is also paid to the official and folk names of the winter months in the dialects of the Khakass language.
