The Image of the Future of the State: New Approach to Interpretation

This article presents an analysis of various approaches to the study of the image of the future of the state as complex concept that makes it possible to develop the author's definition for further application in political research. The authors present the systematization of the factors of the formation of the image of the future of the state, as well as the methods, mechanisms, and technologies of its formation, which allowed presenting the image of the future in the form of a dichotomous model. It consists of an unchangeable core, which is a strategic view of the future of the state in the long term, formed in accordance with the fundamental value orientations dominant in society, surrounded by a changeable shell, understood as a set of short-term oriented characteristics, capable of transformation under the influence of various external and internal factors.
