Image of Dr. Zilbershtein in the story of V.Ya. Zazubrin “Dormitory”

The article deals with the detailed analysis of the image of Dr. Zilbershtein as a key character in the image system and the issues of the story of V.Ya Zazubrin “Dormitory” (1923), allowing to emphasize the dualism of the perception of the revolutionary period by the author-communist. On the one hand, Zilbershtein is a character fighting with the vestige of the past and supporting the establishment of the communist way of life. On the other hand, the image is allusively connected with the figures of the scientists, interfering in the human nature and limiting it.
