Image as a psychological category of the child personality of preschool age

The author denotes the consecution of image category formation at the stages of preschool childhood, shows a multidimensional performance of the category of image and its functionality, significance of the ideal of an adult for moral development of a child. The article specifies conceptual approach to the essence of imitation of adult's image for a moral development of a child.
