Based on the theoretical analysis, the problem of image is revealed not only in psychology, but also in pedagogy. The image is the foundation on which the inner world of a human personality is built. It is both the source and the result of any cognitive act. A person consciously and unconsciously forms images in himself that give him guidelines for behavior and activity. They turn into "beacons" that indicate the direction of a person's movement along the path of life. As a result, it is concluded that the regulation of behavior - both one's own and the behavior of another - is ultimately reduced to the regulation of images of consciousness. Personal education must be carried out on the basis of ideals and through ideals.
