The Down's syndrome child's image in mothers' mind from infant to early age

The article presents the results of the research devoted to the structure of a child's image in mothers' mind. The necessity of this research is called for by the fact that the situation of a child born with special needs including the Down's syndrome changes the situation of the child-parent interaction, which is in fact the principal factor in the child's development.
