The image of Russia in the representation of foreign students

The article raises the question of the need to form the image of Russia in the minds of foreign students. The need to study the image of the country is justified. The term “image of the country” is analyzed in various research areas: linguistics, political science and methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The results of the experiment are presented. The paper presents tasks to identify the nature of the image of the country of the language being studied, and also presents priority directions for the formation of a positive image of Russia.
