The article is devoted to the analysis of metaphors present on the pages of the German press. The article is based on the publications in the German periodicals FAZ ("Ffankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung”), ZEIT ("Time") from 2000 to 2022, which allowed us to draw some conclusions about the metaphorical representation of Russia and Russians on the pages of the above-mentioned periodicals.
