The concept “a nativistic simulacrum” is introduced in the paper and the main characteristics of the definition are analyzed. As a result of consideration of the central stratum of the concept - the image of a minister of worship - the author comes to the following conclusions: the main “visually fixed” function of worshipers both in the Ossetian cult of the followers of “iron din” and in the environment of modern Russian pagan associations is to organize and hold festive-ceremonial events within a certain cult object, maintaining its sacred status. The leaders of modern pre-Abrahamic religious systems are characterized by the construction of mythological elements of their own ethnic priesthood on the example of copyright projects of ideologists of the Ossetian “iron din”, Russian paganism (“Rodnoverie”). The figure of the minister of worship is idealized in the programmatic texts of the “traditionalists”. Sacredness is achieved through the taboo priesthood - deliberate isolation from neophytes, initiation of the ancestral home in the prehistoric mythological world and transformation into the genetic elite of the society.
