The image of the interlocutor in linguistic consciousness of representatives of Russian and Chinese cultures (on the basis of Russian-Chinese negotiations)

The article deals with the image of the interlocutor in linguistic consciousness of a particular culture representative in cross-cultural negotiations. The authors analyse the results of Russian and Chinese students’ surveys. The authors single out six levels to form the image: appearance and environment, nature and abilities, behavior and speech, beliefs and values defining common and specific features.
