Sulfate reduction bacteria participate in processe organic matter destruction and produse of sulphide hydrogen. The growth ofsulfate reduction bacteria was studied on acetate and lactate. The main part of organic substance on the terminal stages of anaerobic destruction employ for reduction ofsulfates.
