Education is a social institution; teaching is a social cultural action

Technological, economical, political progress rates, state of culture and moralities in society, prosperity of an individual are dependent on the quality of education. Training (educational action) is considered to be as an acquiring of knowledge, as an acquiring of experience and as an acquiring of culture. Manifest and hidden functions of educational institutions are analysed in the article.
