Educational process in the context of philosophical categories of dialectical thinking

The idea is substantiated that dialectical categories, which have the property of coinciding with reality, are a reliable methodological basis for the formation of rational thinking in the educational process. The article is interdisciplinary in nature, written at the intersection of philosophy and pedagogy. Particular attention is paid to criticism of practiced interdisciplinary connections and the competency-based paradigm of higher education. The article was done in the style of philosophy and pedagogy.
