General characteristics of administrative responsibility for violation of customs rules

The article is devoted to the study of the main characteristics of administrative responsibility for violation of customs rules: the concept, features, signs are highlighted. In accordance with the provisions of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, the types of administrative liability for violation of customs rules include: a warning, an administrative fine, confiscation of the instrument or subject of an administrative offense. The author analyzed the provisions of the Federal Law of March 26, 2022 № 70-FL «On Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation», which entered into force on April 6, 2022 and affects the competence of the customs authorities.
