Features of translating occasional words from J. K. Rowling's works into Russian and its cultural impact: philosophical aspect

Introduction. Сomprehension of narrowness of intra disciplinary approach to the global problems in modern humanity, undoubtedly, promotes further development of separate branches of humanities. The more scientists and students realise this necessity, the faster linguistics develops. Philosophical approach to the analysis of the original text and its translation allows to be beyond the narrow-special linguistic approach and opens absolutely new prospects. Studying, apparently, a concrete theme with application of the communicatively-functional approach to transformation, deduces the explorer on a track of philosophical judgment of text existense. The purpose of the article consists in the new view offer on the analysis of traditional language problems of the text of the original and tranlation which opens new possibilities for interpretation of language problems in cultural space of the text. Materials and Methods. theoretical methodological strategy of the research is interdisciplinary approach, which is realised in interrelation with cultural and communicatively-functional attitudes to the translation, it is considered by authors as a new paradigm of humanitarian researches. It provides complete understanding of the text of the recipient, allowing to accumulate in an integrity both language and cultural phenomena of the text. The solution of the research tasks was provided with a set of complementary theoretical and empirical methods. Comparative analysis of the units of the original and translation, comparison, generalization, systematization, modeling of possible communicative situations, involving the use of varying tactics of translation were used. Results of the research represent a detailed analysis of occasional units, which are perceived by the authors in close connection with the cultural background of the era. Emphasis is on the cultural context, in which occasionalisms are born and function. The article has shown how the strategy of translation, visualizes implicit information contained by language elements in the world picture of the era. The authors suggested their own classification of translation of occasionalisms, based on the cultural approach. The article implicitly and explicitly shows that the neglect of the so-called extra linguistic features, causes misinterpretation, turning the translation into symbolic, not semantic trans coding. A detailed analysis of lexical units, carried out by the authors makes a researcher to think about a multifaceted interpretation of the studied linguistic phenomenon. Discussion and Conclusions: the conclusions the authors arrived at in the course of the study assure that linguistic unit of the text contains in a condensed variant the picture of the world of the era, embodied in the author’s individual picture of the world. Philosophical bases of interpretation of meaning, allow to penetrate into the subtext and understand the author’s intent. This empathy leads to enrichment of the inner world of the recipient. Thus humanitarian fields of knowledge are able to bring the Humanities to a qualitatively new stage of development.
